My first official YA book. I started this sitting in LaGuardia Airport, on a nice sunny day in September. It featured a great character, Max, trying to find himself. Half way through Chapter Twenty, 9/11 happened. I put the book aside for exactly one day, to watch the coverage, and then I turned the TV off and kept on going.
